This is ME!

Hello and thanks for visiting my page.  Most of you know me but for those of you who don’t here it goes...My name is Claudette Shafer Mashburn.  I was born in Fairfax, attended Fairfax schools, and graduated Fairfax High School. Both my parents, Nelda and Claude Shafer also graduated from Farifax.  You can say, I am a Fairfaxian!  I am married to James Mashburn and have two sons, Jim Ed and Shafe Michael.  Jim Ed graduated from WHS in 2011.  Shafe  graduated in 2016.   

I earned my BA of Science in Elementary Education from OSU.  I started teaching 1^st grade in August of 1986 (probably changed a few of your lives, ha).  I graduated from SWOSU with a Masters in Education in May of 2006.  In 2008, I was hired as the Elementary principal at

Woodland. As elementary principal at Woodland Elementary I attend many school and community events to show my support,  interest and dedication to our youth, our school and our community.
