Current Position:

Mrs. Cox began teaching at Woodland Middle School in the 2014/2015 school year. She began teaching Science and Math and continues to teach math.

Previous Position:

Prior to teaching in Oklahoma, Mrs. Cox was the Pharmacy Technology Program Director at Heald College in Honolulu, Hawaii. She began teaching there in 2009. Other positions held were as a Nationally Certified and state licensed Pharmacy Technician in Virginia Beach, Virginia as well as a pre-school teacher in Gaeta, Italy working at a Department of Defense Child Development Center.  

Family Information:

Mrs. Cox has been married for over 22 years and has two sons. Her oldest son is a junior at Old Dominion University studing Mechanical Engineering and is in the Navy ROTC program, her younger son is a senior at Woodland High School. He is also in the BioMed program at Pioneer Tech in Ponca City. He plays baseball for the Woodland Varsity team.

Personal Information:

A little about me: I have lived in many places with my family. I was born in Iceland and raised in Virginia Beach with one brother and one sister. After graduation from high school I attended college in Virginia, was married and began my travels around the world. I have lived in Philadelphia, PA, Tulsa, OK, Gaeta, Italy, Honolulu, HI and now Fairfax, OK. Each place I have lived has been very special to me for various reasons. I am happy to be living here in Fairfax and teaching at Woodland Middle School.
